BACHELOR HOME SHIFT: 6 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE SHIFTING

In Dhaka city, numerous families and bachelors shift their home every month. In the case of family home shifting, every family member has the opportunity to share the responsibilities together. 1.  Inform the person in charge of your current flat at least 2 months ahead of your departure

2.  Talk to your current landlord about the procedure of adjusting the money you paid earlier as an advance booking fee. In this case, you can do either of the followings:

Firstly, you can opt for not paying the rent of the last month or two (depends on how much you paid in advance) to adjust the booking fee. Or, you can take the amount in full just before leaving your current room.

3. Start looking for a room within the first 1-5 days of the month in the area where you want to shift. In most areas of Dhaka City, TO-LET announcements are given within 1-5 days of the month if there are any vacancies. Hence, try to find a room within the first 5 days of the month. Otherwise, it will become difficult to get a decent room. 

4. If you are able to find a room according to your preference, talk to the landlord about rent and pay the booking fee in advance to confirm your room.

1. What would be the size of the Truck that you would be needing to carry your furniture?

3. How many laborers will be needed for shifting?
