Steps to change ownership in the Truck Lagbe Owner App:

1. If you are a verified truck owner/driver in Dhaka then you need to complete all the steps of change of ownership by visiting the Truck Lagbe office. If you drive outside Dhaka, you will be contacted by phone.

2. The Truck Driver/Owner whose number the truck was previously verified on will be contacted for verification. That means Truck Lagbe will contact the verified truck owner/driver from whom you purchased the truck. After contact, if confirmation is received from the previous owner/driver then you will be taken to the next step.

3. You need to bring some BRTA documents to your office for verification of your truck. Eg - Tax Token, Fitness Certificate, Blue Book, Road Permit. If you are outside Dhaka then you need to WhatsApp the documents. Ownership transfer documents may also be required.

4. If there is any remaining commission for the trips made by the previous driver, you will have to pay that commission. 

5. In the final step you have to open the owner account again. If you don't have a national identity card then you can easily open an account with your birth certificate.
